How Do Mobiderm Foam Pads Work

The unique structure of Mobiderm pads (small foam cubes, arranged in a grid pattern, and placed inside a soft, flexible fabric) creates a micro massage effect. The micro massaging mimics manual lymphatic drainage and improves the effectiveness of compression bandages, garments, and wraps.

The low-pressure zones that the foam pads create help draw fluid from swollen areas, and the high-pressure zones help push fluid into lymphatic vessels, where it belongs. Over time, the repeated gentle pressure from the foam pads also helps break down fibrotic (hardened) tissue, which makes the skin softer and helps improve mobility.
